Review paper: For your review paper, you will choose any cancer that you find interesting. Some examples are skin, breast, ovarian, liver, colon, prostate, bladder, lung, leukemia, lymphoma or brain. Please note that organs are complex organizations of different cell types, and the cancers that arise in them are accordingly complex, typically falling into several of subtypes. To make your life easier, I strongly encourage you to focus on a particular subtype! Using skin as an example, cancers that can arise in this organ include basal cell carcinoma, originating from cells that produce new skin, and melanoma, originating from pigment melanocyte cells.
