Select one of the eclectic approaches to music education. Investigate the method’s principles, philosophies, practices, distinctive pedagogy, and historical significance. Discuss its development, role in K–12 general education, and in vocal and/or instrumental ensemble development. Critique the approach and share what you perceive to be its strengths or weaknesses. Also, consider ways in which the approach allows for, if any in your opinion, diversity in curriculum content and/or materials. Use 8 scholarly articles, books, dissertations, or other scholarly sources in addition to the textbook. Paper must also include a biblical reference and be in Turabian format.
