Dissertation Proposal on the THE INFLUENCES OF HR POLICIES ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE

Objectives of the Assignment:

Ø Clarify the research gap! Why this research must be done.

Ø Research Question (what is the topic). Hypothesis (Possible answer maybe multiple).

Ø What are the research Objectives?

Ø Research Strategies (Justify what type of research strategy did you use, was it primary or secondary research.

Ø Sample (it should be clear why this sample was used).

Ø (Information of data collection and data analysis should be matching the research strategy).

 

 

Please write a dissertation proposal on a topic of your choice (preferably your dissertation topic). The dissertation proposal must follow the template available on Moodle and contain the following: (a) background and academic context, (b) research objectives, (c) methods and access, (e) research ethics, and (f) a bibliography of a minimum of 20 academic sources (i.e., academic journal articles, preferably, with DOI numbers; chapters in edited books; or monographs) on a topic of your choice (preferably your dissertation topic). (N.B. The Bibliography section is not included in the word count.) Please submit a Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx file). PDF files, etc. are not accepted.

The assignment will be assessed based on the following criteria (see the grid below):

· Background and academic context (20%)

· Research objectives (25%)

· Methods and ethics (35%)

· Bibliography (10%)

· Language and mechanics (10%)

Papers that do not contain a minimum of twenty (20) academic sources fail automatically. Academic sources are academic journal articles, preferably, with DOI numbers; chapters in edited books; and monographs.

Academic conduct notice

Harvard-style referencing needs to be used consistently throughout. Incomplete referencing shall result in reporting the case to the Academic Conduct Officer, who keeps a record of such violations.
