Group-based Form into groups of three or four students. Discuss what you consider to be the main activity characteristics of human intelligence. Discuss the problems of capturing knowledge from a human expert and suggest whether there are any ethical, political, cultural or legal issues that need to be addressed in the development of expert systems within the business environment. Select a job activity found within the business environment where the decision-making activity could be captured by an expert system. Each member of the group should adopt the role of either knowledge engineer or end user. Interview the expert and attempt to capture that expert’s knowledge and decision-making capabilities by establishing a set of rules and guidelines that can be converted into a program to determine answers to questions in the expert’s knowledge field.
