In this part, you will have essay type questions. There will be four questions in this part. For each question, you MUST write a maximum of one page with 12-font size (Calibri, Times New Roman, Arial) and double spacing.

1) a) Do you believe that the way a business treats its employees and customers, as well as the way it does business matters? Provide reasons for your response.

2) You have come up with a new product which you believe would attract the interest of households globally. Describe four different strategies which would allow your product to reach the global marketplace. (10 Marks)

3) What is the purpose of a performance appraisal? What are the major steps involved in the performance appraisal process? (10 Marks)

4) Governments throughout Canada are privatizing services that they have traditionally offered. Why are they doing so? Provide three examples of such services being privatized. (10 Marks)
