Your task is to investigate these potential relationships and share what you learn in a report. The report should be professional in nature, should not be more than 5 pages (excluding a title page), and should be an appropriate combination of graphs and full well written sentences. You can / should use all that we have discussed with analyzing relationships. Your report should be turned into Canvas. Only one team member needs to turn it in. |
ISA 125 Project 2
In this project you and your partner (yes this is an assignment done in groups of 2) will be given a set of data that is a random sample of the members of a retailer’s frequent shopper / loyalty club. A brief description of the variables is given in the table below.
Variable Name | Measurement Level | Description |
ID | Nominal | Customer Loyalty ID number |
DemAge | Quantitative | Customer age in years |
DemGender | Qualitative | Customer gender; Male, Female, or Unknown |
DemReg | Qualitative | Customer geographic region |
PromClass | Qualitative | Loyalty status; Tin, Silver, Gold, or Platinum |
PromSpend | Quantitative | Total amount spent on promotions |
PromTime | Quantitative | Time as a loyalty member |
In Project 1, you provided the company with a description of the members of their loyalty program. They now want to better understand if / how the variables used in the description relate to each other. Specifically they want to know if / how the quantitative variables relate to each other (DemAge to PromSpend, DemAge to PromTime, and PromSpend to PromTime.) They also want to know if / how the qualitative variables relate to each other (DemGender to DemReg, DemGender to PromClass, and DemReg to PromClass).
